Welcome to propose a track on a specific topic.
The core program for the R&D Management Conference is structured around several parallel sessions, each lasting 80 minutes and led by a Track Chair. This is an opportunity to collate a series of interesting inputs around and in support of your key research interest.
Sessions could either be in the format of (1) paper presentations or (2) workshops. A paper presentation session comprises four papers that may be academically focused, practice-relevant, or a mix of both. A workshop is freer and typically based on extensive interactions between the participants.
A maximum of two paper sessions (approximately 8 papers) will be permitted for each Track.
Track Chairs are the pillars of the Conference Program. As such, their commitment and spirit of collegiality are vital for the overall success of the event. Track Chairs will not only be responsible for the organization and delivery of their sessions but will also be expected to connect and communicate with authors throughout the whole process. We believe this to be a very important aspect in promoting a more engaged R&D Management Community.
The Conference Organizing Committee will evaluate proposals for Tracks against criteria that will include:
The Conference Organizing Committee may invite Track Chairs to collaborate in the case of multiple proposals with very similar themes.
The Conference Organizing Committee will make the decision on acceptance of Proposals for Tracks and will be final.
You are expected to manage your Track’s review process using the Invajo Conference System.
Responsibilities of Track Chairs regarding the Abstract Review process include:

We look forward to seeing you at KTH in Stockholm, 17-19 June 2024!
The overall theme for this year’s conference is “Transforming industries through technology”. With this focus, we aim to address several parallel and interdependent changes that can be observed in many of today’s industries, not least technology-intensive ones. Particular attention will be given to technological changes related to, e.g. digitalization, sustainability, automatization, and energy technologies, but also to other types of transformations of industries, organizations, and ways of working driven by new technology. Apart from these specific focus areas, we of course welcome contributions in all traditional research areas within R&D management.
The Organizing Committee will be seeking academically rigorous and industrially relevant track proposals that fit within one (but not exclusively) of the following conference topics:
